True story: my photography career kicked off by accident — I threw paint at a friend's face, caught the moment on camera, and that photo went on to win a state contest and hang in Nebraska's Governor's Mansion. I studied photojournalism briefly in Kentucky, but most of what I know, I've built through experience — behind the camera since 2019, and still a registered nurse by day. Photography became my way of processing the world around me: finding the beauty in the everyday chaos, and holding onto the moments that actually matter.
